I hated Pokemon X and Ys plot and I liked AlphaSapphire better. The games ARE easy but I think the games just have plot and now focus on making it easier for competitive battling, like how they introduced Super Training, which is a god send.

Caught a shiny Larvesta recently and that made me happy. Spent all day Wonder Trading for shits and giggles. Got a Mudkip, Chikorita, and Squirtle for it. Then I'm putting all the Feebas I fished up on the Wonder Trade to get different Vivillons xD.

wondertrading is awesome, you can get all sorts of starters and event pokemon that can breed. and if you want more shiny, I recommend the masuda method. I got a shiny honedge after a little while.
