You know how firmware updates work, right? You have to apply it yourself.

EDIT: Are these really for the RB2 Drums or the RB4 Kit, it seems these are for the RB4 kit.

Is there any for the legacy adapter?

I'm trying to research it, but not coming up with anything.

I say the best thing to do is email Madcatz about it, or send a bug report. I think I've seen people on the subreddit talk about issue with the legacy adapter, but that was a while ago.

Update scheduled for November 2nd, but we might get it a little bit sooner than that.

Also some other tidbits in there. I was aware about song library issues are fixable without updates, which is why I check my wishlist every couple days to see if any "Purchased" tabs come up. The whole thing is just songs I know I owned before.

You got the guitar and drums, right?

If you didn't already, replace the batteries. Apparently, the batteries that shipped with it are fucked and cause connection issues with the instruments. I changed the ones for my drums and already notice a bit of difference.
