Since I cannot find Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 for the fucking life of me. I played this for a few days instead. Beaten this today. I forgot that you couldn't create your own skater for the Story mode.
I do appreciate the lack of COMBO lines in Story mode. I always hated COMBO missions. They picked the weird time to throw that out because the Focus (slow mo) feature would had made those tolerable.
I beaten the game on Sick difficulty but I don't notice to unlock anything after I beaten the game. (After researching you get a few characters, even just from beating it on Hard difficulty...bleh)

A few things in the Story mode that bugs me.
Early in the game, locations Beverly Hills and Hollywood, you and your new friends break shit throughout the city and steal parts for the skate ranch (park) and no one bats a fucking eye. You do insane shit that not only you and your friend should be killed from gravity but you have to knock down big fucking objects from on top of buildings onto the streets, many times.
East LA I can understand since the location you visit looks like a dump and the abandon Casino. Both locations come later in the game. I think it would be logical to start activating the steal shit side missions then and there.

Totally unaware that on 18th, it's going to be ten years since this game was released. Spider sense tingling.

Once my leg heals up, I will search super serious for THPS4, I hope I didn't do anything stupid with that, that's like the only PS2 game I can't find in my collection of games . Don't feel like playing THPS3 since I played that way too much. Guess I'll play The Punisher next.
