Riddler is a more fair comparison, especially if we're talking about certain adaptations (even in the 60's show, he was kind of like that). But no, I didn't get the Ledger-Joker vibe at all the two times I watched the movie. Idunno if that's even something others considered when watching it (barely read or watched reviews because I don't really care enough).
I still think they're going to pull the rug from under people and reveal that's Alexander Luthor and the real Lex is being saved for a future installment because, again, he was like Alexander. That's just tinfoil-tier thinking as of right now, though.
